Two of the biggest Italian mobile homes and glamping solutions producers (CR Abitare and CrippaConcept) have donated a few mobile homes to the earthquake's refugees in Croatia.
The maxi-caravans left the Istrian Region on December 30 to get to the specific locations some hours later.
Private institutions and public authorities acted rapidly and have done everything possible to give some security and stability to the people left without shelter in these uncertain weeks. The Croatian Camping Association has been involved in a joint action together with the Croatian Tourism Association and Croatian Hotel Association, with the support of the Ministry of Toursim, to collect a donation of mobile homes and caravans for the areas affected by the earthquake (Petrinja, Glina and Sisak).
"We were trying to run against time, the sooner the better in these types of emergencies. There wasn't a minute to lose since the strong earthquake that happened December 29 and that hit the midlands of Croatia. We at Cr Abitare, alongside many others, were very happy and delighted to participate with solidarity in this initiative." Cr Abitare commented.
